I’m not technical at all. Will I keep up?+
Yes — non-technical is the default here, not the exception. AI 101 Academy is your on-ramp, so day one feels like solid ground. From there, our Crawl → Walk → Run framework is designed to meet you where you are and move at your pace, with Mai in the portal 24/7 to answer questions in any language whenever you get stuck.
Are you tied to a specific AI tool?+
The curriculum is built around Claude — that’s where we’ve put the deepest reps, and our Skills Hub is built for it. If you’re coming from ChatGPT or Copilot, we include tools to seamlessly export your memory and import it into Claude, so switching doesn’t mean starting from zero. The judgment you build in Claude transfers to whatever you reach for next.
Are AI tool subscriptions included?+
AI tool subscriptions are not included in the membership. We highly encourage you to purchase Claude’s Max plan ($100/month), but the Pro plan ($20/month) is enough to start. On average, our community spends approximately $200–400/month on AI tools, depending on workflow and usage.
How much time per week does it take?+
Two to three hours a week is the sweet spot. Lessons are bite-sized (4–9 minutes each), so you can sneak one in during nap time or your morning coffee. Weekly office hours are optional — drop in when you can.
Is there a payment plan?+
Unfortunately, we don’t offer payment plans at the moment. Membership is paid yearly upfront — that’s how we keep founding-member pricing locked. This is the lowest Mother of AI will ever charge, and prices go up next month. If yearly upfront is genuinely a stretch, email us and we’ll work something out. We don’t want price to be the reason you stay stuck.
What if I want my money back?+
You have 30 days from the day you join. Email us at support@themotherofai.com and we’ll refund every penny — no questions asked. The only real risk is staying where you are.
What’s the difference between Basic and VIP?+
Basic ($1,697) gets you everything most members ever need: the full portal, weekly group calls, Mai 24/7, the Skills Hub, the Summit digital pass, and the community. VIP ($2,297) adds two things Basic can’t unlock — a monthly VIP-only mastermind with the other operators in the room, and a Monthly Genius Bar credit for 1:1 time with an AI expert from the MOAI team. Pick Basic if you want to self-serve. Pick VIP if you want hands-on help.
How does the Monthly Genius Bar program work?+
VIP members get a 30-minute 1:1 credit every month — 6 hours of dedicated time with an AI expert from the MOAI team over the year. Book a private session, bring your Claude setup or your toughest blocker, and we’ll fix it with you in real time. Credits don’t roll over: use the month’s session before the calendar flips or you forfeit it. The constraint is intentional — it keeps the calendar reliable for everyone, and pushes you to actually claim your time instead of saving it for “someday.”
